Open Enrollment
What to know during open enrollment
Open enrollment is the time of year when you have the opportunity to choose or change your health insurance plan. The open enrollment period usually begins on November 1, but exact dates vary by state and plan type. Be sure to check your plan. If you have commercial insurance through your employer, ask your employee benefits manager for exact dates, and mark your calendar.
Support navigating coverage
Case Managers are available to help you understand your insurance and can provide education through the open enrollment period. If you have questions about your plan or coverage, call HemAssist to be connected to a Case Manager.
Concerned about out-of-pocket costs? HemAssist offers financial assistance programs to help eligible patients afford their medication. A Case Manager can help you identify potential financial assistance you may be eligible for.
